Dry Formula Indoor is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall nice food I started my cat Pixel on the original because of the lower Carb content however that formula had a very strong fish smell. She seemed to prefer that flavor but eats the indoor as well, just not as quickly. I'm a bit confused about if the indoor also has the benefit of Hairball control because that would be nice because she spends way too much time grooming, and even though she isn't long haired she gets a lot of hairballs. I made the swap from Evo because it was so difficult to find and core is easier to get and I have noticed a change in her coat. Long as she continues to eat it I plan on keeping her on this till I have good reason to change!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I can't prove that this was the cause of my cat's improvement in all the areas she's improved, but I tried all sorts of cat food (including one of those *customized blends* where you fill out a lengthy questionnaire about your cat) and she still threw up at least 4-5 times a week, plus she just seemed stressed all of the time. After transitioning her over to this, she almost never vomits (maybe once every month or two? if that.) and she seems much calmer and less prone to ricocheting off the walls/furniture/dog/me. She seems happier and healthier. Downside: it does give her the absolute funkiest kibble breath. But if she's doing so much better, I can deal with that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CORE grain-free dry food I include CORE grain-free kibbles with each serving of WELLNESS canned food at both his morning and evening feedings. My cat loves the crunch of this recipe and finishes each and every CORE grain-free kibble in his bowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Core Indoor Both my cats love the Core Indoor and they eat every bite. They eat this in addition to the Core wet food.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from core indoor formula I used to use this product, but became concerned because my cat was grooming all the time and her coat got much more thin. I was wondering if it was maybe the kelp in the ingredients is possibly too much and was giving her hyperthyroid. Not knowing, I switch to another brand. The over grooming has stopped, so who knows. Maybe?

How to Transition

This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing cats over one year old as kittens and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements. It is important to slowly transition your cat from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness® CORE® by day 7.

CORE is highly palatable so your cat may tend to eat more of this food. Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Give your cat access to clean, cool fresh water at all times and feed Wellness® CORE® wet food in combination whenever possible, to increase the level of water in your cat's diet. Nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing, but be sure to give your cat plenty of love, exercise and see your veterinarian regularly!
