Wet Formula Turkey, Chicken Liver & Turkey Liver is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cat Food My cat loves this formula the most out of the entire Wellness CORE canned food line. Since switching to a dry-wet hybrid diet, I am more at ease knowing that my cat is getting proper nutrition while still having adequate hydration levels. Best of all, there are no animal by-products and no grains as well; both of which a cat is better off without. After feeding my cat with this canned food alongside the Wellness CORE Indoor Dry Formula, my once fat cat has lost weight, now has a shiny and soft coat, and has been more active overall. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality grain-free food for their cat. Kudos to Wellness for making another great product!

How to Transition

This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing cats over one year old as kittens and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements. It is important to slowly transition your cat from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness® CORE® by day 7.

CORE is highly palatable so your cat may tend to eat more of this food. Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Give your cat access to clean, cool fresh water at all times and feed Wellness® CORE® wet food in combination whenever possible, to increase the level of water in your cat's diet. Nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing, but be sure to give your cat plenty of love, exercise and see your veterinarian regularly!
